If a part has been added to a Workshop job, and it has pulled through the previous supersession of the part incorrectly. it can be removed following this process/
It is worth knowing that the supersession of parts is due to the franchise/manufacturer making changes of parts and prices.
In the example below: Part number that has been added is F1395975080, but also showing on the job is the superseded part F1359643080.
To correct this you will need both Part numbers and head to the Parts Module > View/Update Records
Enter the Current Part Number and press Enter (or click Load)
Once loaded, Click the Supersede button.
In the next screen you will need to add the Previous Supersession number and tab (or click off the box) this will fill in the details of all of the cells/boxes
Click Supersede button, this will Supersede the part to the previous Supersession number.
Once you have done this, you will need to go to the Job in Workshop >Service Reception and credit the part off of the job.
When the part has been credited from the job you will need to come back to the Parts Module > View/update Records and follow the above process again, but this time use the now current suppression part number (this being the previous one at the beginning and supersede this part back to what it should be.
In this example it would be from F1359643080 supersede to F1395975080, this will ensure the part Number is now correct.
