How to access the Digital Service Reception Menu
To access the Digital Service Reception, go to the Main menu > Workshop > Digital Reception. And this is only compatible with a Windows based tablet.
Please Note
We will use the abbreviation “DSR” for the Digital Service Reception throughout this document
Accepting Jobs
On entering the DSR menu, the system defaults you to the “Accept” screen, where you will find all of your appointments for the current day displayed, on the bottom half of the screen, as shown below.
Locate the correct customer from the list and double click, the below window will then appear.
The above window allows you to review/amend the GDPR settings, once completed press the > button to move onto the next window as shown below.
This window allows you to identify what the customer is booked in for, you can also make amendments to the appointment if required.
Once you are happy with the requests on the job, press the > button to go to the next window.
The above window allows you to confirm what date and time the customer wants to collect their vehicle, you can also mark the customer as waiting by ticking the box. Once this information has been checked/amended press the > button to go to the next window.
From here you can choose/enter the correct contact information for the customer. This can be utilised on the job card. Once the information is correct press the > button to go to the next window.
If a loan car has been added to the appointment the loan screen above will appear. If no loan car has been added to the job, this screen will not appear.
From the above screen you are able remove and re-allocate a loan car, you can also collect the customers signature.
Once filled in and checked press the > button to go to the next window.
From here you are able to define how the customer will be paying, if this is unknown skip to next window by pressing > as you can enter this information when releasing the job.
This screen gives you the ability to mark defects on the customer’s vehicle.
Step 1 – Click the diagram and choose the relevant defect from the list.
Step 2 – Tick the box next to the defect
Step 3 – Single click the line and add a comment against the defect
Once completed press save button and the below window will appear.
From here the customer is able to sign of the condition of the vehicle, press the tick to save the signature.
The last section allows you to print and Email the job card to the customer. Once you are happy with the selection press the accept button to complete.
Releasing Jobs
To release jobs, you need to be in the release section, this can be achieved by pressing the orange Release button. Once this has loaded invoiced jobs will be displayed on the bottom half of the screen as shown below.
Locate the correct customer from the list and double click, the below window will then appear.
From here make sure the amount to collect and payment method is correct, once you are happy with the information press the > button to go to the next window.
From here you are able to review/amend any marketing information, once you are happy press the > button to go to the next window.
If the job is in for a MOT the system allows you to enter passed/failed and the tester’s name. Once the information has been entered press the > button to go to the next window.
From here press the release button to release the job.
