This guide explains how to manage parts discounts linked to Sales Ledger accounts. You can perform this process either through the Marketing Module or directly via the Sales Ledger in Navigator.
Option 1: Adjust Discounts via the Marketing Module
Access the Marketing Module:
- Navigate to Marketing > View Customer/Prospect.
- In the "Other" box, enter the account number with the prefix "SL" (e.g., SL12345).
Open the Customer Record:
- Double-click the relevant customer record to open it.
Edit Parts/Retail Profile:
- Within the customer record, click the Profiles tab.
- Select the Parts/Retail Profile section.
- In the Pricing field, adjust the discount under the From Stock tab:
- To remove the discount, clear the field.
- To add or modify the discount, enter the desired value.
- Once satisfied, click Save and Close.
Option 2: Adjust Discounts via the Sales Ledger
Access the Sales Ledger:
- Go to Accounts > Sales Ledger.
Load the Account:
- Search for and select the Sales Ledger account you want to adjust.
View Customer Profile:
- Within the Details tab of the account, click View Customer.
Follow Marketing Module Steps:
- Once in the customer record, follow the steps outlined in Option 1, starting from "Edit Parts/Retail Profile."
