Remove Parts:
- Before cancelling, ensure all parts have been removed from the job.
- Check this by opening the job and reviewing the Parts tab.
Handle Sub Contracts:
- If the job includes a sub-contract, cancellation is not directly possible. Instead:
- Post the sub-contract with a zero value.
- Invoice the job out at zero value to an internal sales ledger account.
- If the sub-contract has already been posted with a value:
- Add another sub-contract line with a negative value.
- Post this negative line to offset the original value.
- If the job includes a sub-contract, cancellation is not directly possible. Instead:
Final Steps:
- Once all checks are complete, click Reschedule as New Appointment and then select Cancel Appointment to finalise the cancellation.
