Sending Emails and SMS from Sales 360

Navigator’s Sales 360 module allows users to send both email and SMS messages directly from within a sales enquiry. These tools help ensure prompt, professional communication with customers and automatically log all messages to the enquiry and customer history for full auditability.

This guide outlines how to use templates or manually create and send communications.


Sending an Email

Steps:

  1. Load the relevant sales enquiry.

  2. Click the Email button in the bottom-left corner.

You can now choose to use a template or create an email manually.


Using Email Templates

  • Templates are created and managed within the Sales Manager’s Toolkit.

  • To use a template:

    • Double-click the template name.

    • The subject and body of the email will populate automatically.

  • You can then review and edit the message before sending.


Creating a Manual Email

If no templates are available:

  1. Enter a subject line.

  2. Type your message into the email body.

  3. Use the built-in formatting tools to add emphasis, bullets, or structure.

  4. You can also insert images for branding or vehicle promotions.

  5. Once satisfied, click Send.

? Emails can be sent to either the primary or secondary email address on the customer record.


Sending an SMS

Steps:

  1. Load the relevant sales enquiry.

  2. Click the Send SMS button.

You can now choose to use a template or type a custom message.


Using SMS Templates

  • As with emails, templates are configured within the Sales Manager’s Toolkit.

  • Click to select or double-click a template to populate the message field automatically.


Creating a Manual SMS

  1. Type your message directly into the SMS message field.

  2. Keep messages concise, as SMS has a character limit.

  3. Click Send once ready.


Logging Communications

  • All emails and SMS messages sent from a sales enquiry are automatically:

    • Recorded in the enquiry’s history

    • Logged against the customer’s communication history

This ensures visibility across the sales team and supports full tracking of customer engagement.
