How can I add additional columns to the trial balance?

You can add additional columns to any of your ledger reports, such as the trial balance.

To do this:

  1. Navigate to Accounts > Nominal Ledger > Utilities > Setup.
  2. In the Setup section, go to the Ledger Reports tab.
  3. Select the report you want to amend from the dropdown menu—using the Trial Balance as an example.
  4. Click Add and choose your new column from the list.

Be sure not to add the same column twice, as this will cause the report to fail.
