How to create a new part in the retail system

You add new parts or products through the Shop Managers Toolkit. Once the product is created, you can goods-in stock and start selling it immediately.

When to use this
• Adding a new part
• Adding a new retail product
• Setting up an item for goods-in and stock control

Steps

1. Go to Retail.

2. Open Shop Managers Toolkit.

3. Select Products.

4. Enter the new product code.

5. Press Tab to create the record.

6. Enter the key details:
   • Description
   • RRP
   • Sale price
   • VAT code
   • Sale price (ex VAT)
   • Cost (ex VAT)

7. Complete any optional fields if needed.

8. Select Save.

Retail > Goods In
