The Refresh function allows you to update the data within an active workshop job without the need to close and reopen the record. This is particularly useful for viewing real-time updates made by other departments.
When to use Refresh
Parts Updates: When the Parts Department has allocated or issued components to the job.
Labour Tracking: To see updated time-clocking entries from technicians.
Sublet Repairs: When external costs have been added to the job by another user.
How to perform a Refresh
Locate the Button: While inside the workshop job, look for the Refresh icon (usually represented by a circular arrow) located in the top toolbar or action menu.
Click Refresh: The system will immediately sync with the database.
Verify Data: The job lines and totals will update to reflect the most recent transactions and parts bookings.
Key Benefits
Time Saving: Eliminates the "close and reopen" workflow, keeping you on the correct screen.
