This guide outlines how to add additional categories to the Purchase Ledger and the Sales Ledger, this function will enable additional analysis within the extended Trial Balance.
To be able to create these you will need access to Accounts module > Nominal Ledger.
Step 1
You will need to select the Accounts module, then select the Nominal Ledger from the sub category.
Step 2
From the Task Bar you will need to Select Utilities from the tab, then you will need to select the Setup
Step 3
In the List of Tabs you will need to select the "Trial Balance Setup" once here you can the information you require by clicking the appropriate "Add" button
Once added onto the above, the category will show on the terms tab within the account.
Only invoices posted after the above is set will appear with extended analysis.
These categories will how show as an extended analysis in your extended TB.
