Unable to Credit a Stock Record Due to Part Exchange Closed Error

If you're attempting to cancel a host deal and encounter the message "Part Exchange is closed," follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Check Branch Alignment: Ensure that both the host deal and the part exchange (P/X) are within the same branch.

    • For example, if the host deal is in Branch 3 but the P/X is in Branch 2, this discrepancy will prevent you from crediting the stock record.
  2. Transfer the P/X: If the part exchange has been moved to a different branch, you’ll need to transfer it back to the original branch where the host deal is located.

By ensuring that both the host and P/X are in the same branch, you'll be able to successfully credit the stock record.
