Navigator allows you to "reserve" a vehicle for a customer without creating an order. This prevents the vehicle from being sold to another customer unless it is released from reservation.
To reserve a vehicle:
- Go to the Vehicle Admin Toolkit and search for the stock number of the vehicle you want to reserve.
- Click on the Reserved tab.
- Within the Reserved tab, press Reserve and search for the customer who is reserving the vehicle. Double-click the customer to confirm the selection.
If anyone tries to raise an order on a reserved vehicle, the system will notify them that the vehicle is reserved. To proceed with selling the vehicle, it must first be released from reservation through the Reserved tab.
