Amend a registration number on a Stock Record (Cherish Plate Transfer)

To amend the registration number on a stock vehicle, follow these steps:

1. Access the stock record through the Vehicle Admin Toolkit and verify that the vehicle is in an amendable status. Note that the Reg No field on the Details tab may not always allow changes.

2. Ensure that the vehicle does not have an invoice raised against it, a sales order in place, or has not been delivered. If any of these conditions exist, you will need to cancel the sales order or un-deliver the vehicle before making changes.

3. On the Details tab, use the Remove Reg button for cherished plate transfers or correcting input errors. Pressing this button will clear the current registration number.

4. Enter the correct registration number and press Tab to save the changes.

Please make sure the registration number is entered in uppercase and without spaces.
