This guide explains how to run a marketing campaign in Navigator and outlines the different contact methods available: Letter, Email, and SMS.
Contact Methods
1. Print Letters
- Select Print Letters:
- This option generates letters for all customers included in the campaign.
- Choose a Letter Template:
- A list of available letter templates will appear.
- Double-click the relevant letter template to use it.
- Print the Letters:
- The system will print the letters for all customers in the campaign.
Tip: Use the Cleanup Function to remove customers without a valid address:
- Select “Remove customers with no address” before processing the letters.
2. Send Emails
Select Send Email:
- This option sends emails to all customers in the campaign.
Choose or Create an Email Template:
- To use an existing email, double-click its title.
- To create a new email, click New Template.
Compose a New Email:
- Enter the Subject.
- Write the email content in the Text Email Body field.
- Use the variables on the right-hand side to personalise the email (e.g., customer's name or address).
Save and Send:
- Save the template and select Send to email all customers in the campaign.
Tip: Use the Clean-up Function to remove customers without email addresses:
- Select “Remove customers with no email address” before sending the emails.
3. Send SMS
- Select Send SMS:
- This option sends text messages to all customers in the campaign.
- Compose or Choose a Template:
- To create a new SMS template, click New Template.
- Alternatively, select an existing template.
- Enter Your Message:
- Free-type the message or use a saved template.
- Personalise the message using available variables if needed.
- Send the SMS:
- Once satisfied with the content, select Send to deliver the SMS to all customers in the campaign.

- Personalisation: Use variables to include customer-specific details in your communications.
- Clean-up Options: Always clean up the campaign list to remove customers without the necessary contact details.
- Templates: Save commonly used messages as templates for quick reuse in future campaigns.
