There are several potential reasons why a Service or MOT date may not update as expected:
"Due for" Removed from Job Description:
When scheduling an appointment, it's essential to select "MOT or Service Required." If the "Due for MOT" entry is removed from the job description, the date will not update.Incorrectly Adding MOT or Service Line:
If you're adding a line for MOT or Service after the booking, it must be done through the "Add Request" option, not "Add Job." Also, ensure the "Due for" field remains intact during this process.MOT Marked as "Fail":
If an MOT is mistakenly marked as failed under "Complete MOT," the date will not progress. To correct this, you can select "Restart Job" and reprocess the MOT accordingly.Standard Job Not Configured as an MOT Job:
The standard job must be set up with the correct job type of "MOT." To check this, go to Workshop Parameters > Standard Jobs and confirm the configuration.
