Pennies may accumulate due to VAT rounding differences, and while they typically aren't a cause for concern, it may be necessary to write them off.
The simplest way to do this is by posting a nominal journal entry. Typically, you would:
- Code the journal entry to the relevant stock account.
- Make the opposite entry to 0.0.40.7 (Write Off).
This method ensures that the minor discrepancies are accurately accounted for in your records.
