Costs can be posted to a vehicle stock record in various ways, such as parts being booked through the parts department or the RFL value being posted via the vehicle admin toolkit. Each type of cost must be reversed using the appropriate method:
Parts-Related Costs: If the cost is related to a part, request your parts department to credit it from the stock vehicle via the Point of Sale system.
Workshop Jobs: For costs related to workshop jobs, have the service department credit the job through the workshop.
RFL and Other Dealer Costs: To reverse RFL or other dealer-related costs, navigate to the Purchase Status tab within the stock record. Select Post Purchase, and reverse the costs by posting them as negative values.
All costs can be reviewed via the Cost Analysis section in the Purchase Status tab.
Note: You will not be able to delete a stock record until the Cost Analysis equals zero, meaning all costs have been fully reversed.
