To set up a Valeter, follow these steps carefully. Ensure you have the necessary access to Setup > Staff Record before proceeding.
Step 1: Create a New Staff Record
- Navigate to Staff Records and click the New button.
- In the Basic Details tab, enter the Valeter’s name.
Step 2: Assign Privileges
- Go to the Privileges tab.
- Assign a branch to the user.
- Create a numeric password for login access.
Step 3: Technician Setup
- Proceed to the Technician Setup section.
- Enter the Valeter’s details as required.
- If the user is not working as a technician, leave the Skill field blank.
Step 4: Final Settings
- Check the “Valet Only” box to correctly categorise the user.
- Set efficiency to 0.00 (since Valeters are not measured by efficiency metrics).
- Click Save to complete the setup.
