Adding Manual Clockings for Valeters or Mobile Technicians

This guide outlines how to manually add clockings for valeters or mobile technicians in Navigator. Although manual clocking remains an option, it is recommended to consider using the Technicians App, which provides on-the-go clocking functionality. For more details about the app, click here.


Steps to Add Manual Clockings

Step 1: Access the Clock Card

  1. Navigate to Workshop > Service Managers Toolkit > Clock Card.
  2. Load the technician in question by selecting them from the dropdown list or searching by their staff ID.

Step 2: Add Clock Lines

Once the technician's details are loaded, you can manually add clockings:

  1. For Non-Productive Time:

    • Use the "Add Non-Productive" option to log non-productive hours (e.g., meetings, breaks, or other non-work-related activities).
  2. For Clock Lines:

    • Use the "Add Clock Line" option to log time worked on specific jobs or tasks.

Technicians App

  • If you have mobile technicians or valeters, consider using the Technicians App for streamlined clocking.
  • The app enables technicians to log their time and tasks in real time, reducing the need for manual updates.
