Newly Created Technician Not Appearing on the Clock Card Screen

If you've added a new technician but they’re not showing on the clock card screen, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue. You’ll need access to Setup > Staff Records for these checks. If you don't have access, consult the person who added the technician to the system.

Steps to Check:

  1. Privileges Tab:

    • Ensure the Technicians Clock option is ticked.
  2. Service Tab:

    • Confirm that Manually Add Technicians Clockings is not ticked. This setting is primarily used for mobile technicians and valeters.
  3. Technicians Setup Tab:

    • Ensure the technician’s name, skill, efficiency, and a shift of 1 are entered.

By following these steps, the technician should now appear on the clock card screen.

Important Note:

The clocking process only accepts numerical passwords, so make sure the technician's password doesn’t contain any text.
