How to Give Managers Access to the Till Reconciliation Screen

Access to the Till Reconciliation (Till Rec) screen is controlled by user privileges. Managers or authorised staff may need this access to carry out daily or periodic cashing-up tasks, review discrepancies, or perform approvals.

This setting is managed through the user’s staff record in the system setup area.


How to Grant Till Rec Access

  1. Navigate to:
    Setup > Staff Records

  2. Load the staff member's record who requires access.

  3. Go to the Privileges section.

  4. Under the Accounts category, expand the Other sub-section.

  5. Locate and tick the option for “Till Recs”.

  6. Click Save to apply the change.

  7. Ask the staff member to log off and back on again to activate the updated access.


Why This Matters

Providing access to the Till Rec screen allows managers to:

  • Complete or review end-of-day cashing up

  • Monitor till discrepancies or adjustments

  • Access audit trails of cash and card handling
