Enabling Duplex Printing on Navigator Forms

Modified on Mon, 8 Sep at 11:26 AM

Double-sided (duplex) printing reduces paper use and printing costs. By setting up forms correctly in Navigator, you ensure documents make full use of printer capabilities.

Steps to Enable Double-Sided Printing

  1. Go to Setup > Forms Designer.

  2. Find the form you want to enable and double-click it to open.

  3. In the bottom-right corner, select the Dictionary tab.

  4. Click New Item and choose New Variable.

  5. In the Variable Name field, type DuplexPrint (case-sensitive).

  6. Press Tab – the Alias field will auto-populate.

  7. Press OK to add the variable.

The form is now set for double-sided printing. If your printer supports duplex printing and the feature is enabled, the form will print on both sides.
