When running marketing campaigns, it’s important to keep your customer data accurate and relevant. Sending duplicate or unnecessary messages not only reduces the impact of your marketing but can also cause annoyance to your customers.

Navigator includes several clean-up tools to help you keep campaigns tidy and effective.

How to Use Clean-Up Options

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns.

  2. Load the campaign you want to update.

  3. Select Clean Up.

  4. From the clean-up options, choose the actions that best suit your campaign

Clean-Up Options Available

Remove Missing Contact Information

  • You can remove customers who are missing key details, such as an email address in an email campaign.

  • This ensures your campaign only includes customers you can reach.

Remove Duplicates (Multiple Vehicles)

  • If a customer has more than one car, each vehicle will appear in the campaign.

  • Use this option to reduce duplicate contact and ensure each customer only receives one communication.

Remove Duplicate Emails

  • This option removes records where the same email address is used more than once.

  • Examples include:

    • Business email addresses shared by multiple customers

    • Family members using the same email address

    • Duplicate customer records in the system

Why This Matters

Cleaning up your campaign lists ensures:

  • Customers are not frustrated by repeated or irrelevant messages

  • Your marketing looks professional and targeted

  • Campaign performance is easier to measure accurately

  • You avoid wasted effort and protect your company’s reputation

By taking a few minutes to use these tools, you can be confident your campaigns are reaching the right people with the right message.
