Why does the DOC show different totals than Navigator?
The DOC combines Expected and Actual views. If deals have been invoiced but not yet Closed, the "Actual Profit" will appear significantly lower than the "Expected Profit."
What should I use for month-end profit?
Always use the Actual Profit column. This represents realised profit from Closed Deals only.
Why does the DOC not update when I change things in Navigator?
The DOC is not a live-streaming report. You must manually click the Refresh button within the report to pull the latest data from the ledgers.
What is the difference between Expected and Actual in the DOC?
Expected: A planning view based on forecast sales and costs.
Actual: A confirmed view based on the final sale and cost figures of closed deals.
Why do closed deals still show in profit reports?
Closed deals do not "drop off" the report. The report is a historical record of all activity for that specific month; therefore, closed deals remain visible to provide a full audit of your performance.
Which Navigator reports should I use alongside the DOC?
Pipeline Profit: To identify all deals invoiced within the month.
Action Report: To locate any Unassigned Costs or overdue actions that are preventing "Expected" profit from becoming "Actual" profit.
