Understanding Negative Values (-1) in the Profit Report and Their Causes

Modified on Thu, 10 Oct at 10:57 AM

You may encounter negative values (-1) on the Profit Report under Vehicles > Sales Managers Toolkit > Reports > Profit Report when deals are reopened after being closed.

Here’s a clearer breakdown:

  • 1: Indicates the deal has been closed.
  • -1: Indicates the deal has been reopened.

The issue arises when a deal is closed and then reopened across different months. This can lead to unexpected negative values appearing on the report.

To identify these cases:

  1. Extend your date range to cover a broader period.
  2. Untick the "Consolidated" checkbox to get a more detailed view of how deals are being opened and closed across different months.

This approach will help you spot and better understand movements in the report that may be contributing to the minus values.
