Change stock record from New to Demo

Go into the stock record and click on the DEPT button next to the status line, a drop-down box will appear

Select which Department you want the vehicle to be transferred to & the date this need registered for

Once transferred all costs that were posted while under the NEW Department which is totalled and one value moved over to Demo Stock.

You don’t loose detail as you can always view what has been posted within each department. To access this information you can view in the Cost Analysis on the Purchase Status tab.

Once the vehicle is no longer a Demo you would follow the steps above and move back into Showroom stock.  Again all cost that have been entered while in demo stock will be totalled and one value moved over to used car stock.
