How to Create a Workshop Job for a Stock Vehicle

You can create a workshop job for a stock vehicle either directly from the stock record or through the Workshop Reception screen.

1. Creating a Job via the Stock Record:

• Navigate to the vehicle's stock record.
• Select the PDI/Prep tab.
• Click Create Job, add any necessary requests, and then click Create Workshop Order.

Once created, the job will appear on the PDI/Prep tab, and it will also be displayed as a Sales Appointment within the workshop.

2. Creating a Job from the Workshop Reception Screen:

• Go to Service > Workshop Reception > Sales Appointment.
• Search for the vehicle in the stock list.
• Once you locate the vehicle, double-click it.
• This will open the Create Appointment screen, where you can proceed just as you would for creating any standard workshop job.
