How to Amend a Vehicle Model and Description on a Stock Record

Critical Constraint

You can only amend the Model and Description of a vehicle if the stock number has not been sold or invoiced. Once either of these actions occurs, the vehicle details are locked and cannot be updated.

Step-by-Step Amendment

If the vehicle is clear of sale/invoice constraints, follow these steps to make your changes:

1. Access Stock Record: Navigate to the relevant vehicle stock record.

2. Initiate Update: Locate the make and model description box and click the Update button next to it.

3. Make Changes: The system will now allow you to edit the Model and Description fields.

4. Save: Save the stock record to finalise your changes.
