Posting Road Fund Licence (RFL) Costs Against a Stock Record

To post Road Fund Licence (RFL) costs against a stock record, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the RFL Tab

Navigate to the Purchase Status tab of the stock record.
Click on the Post Purchase button to access the Road Fund Licence (RFL) tab, where the RFL information selected on the Sales Order will be displayed.

Step 2: Review RFL Details

Estimated Cost: This field shows the estimated cost of the RFL.
Posted to Date: This indicates the total amount already posted against the RFL.

Step 3: Enter the Amount to Post

In the To Post field, input the amount you wish to post for the RFL.

Step 4: Add the Vehicle Registration Date (For New Vehicles)

For new vehicles, ensure you also enter the registration date. This date will be transferred to the marketing system as the vehicle's registration date upon delivery.

Step 5: Complete the Posting

Once all details are entered, click Post to finalise the RFL cost posting.
