Sales Admin Profiles in the staff records system allow you to control which tabs and functions within the Stock record are accessible to staff members. These profiles can be customised to ensure staff members have appropriate access levels based on their roles. This guide explains how to review, create, and assign Sales Admin Profiles.

    Setup > Staff Records.
  • Click the "Sales Admin Profiles" button on the toolbar.

    • Select a profile from the dropdown menu.
    • Click Load to review or edit the profile.

  • For each tab, choose one of the following options:
    • Not Displayed: The tab will not appear for the user.
    • View Only: The user can view the tab but cannot make changes.
    • View and Update: The user can both view and edit the tab.
  • To change an option, double-click the relevant line to cycle through the choices.
B. Admin Screen Functions
  • This tab determines which functions are available to the user when processing a vehicle record.
  • Review the available functions and enable or disable them as needed.

4. Save the Profile

  • Once you have configured the profile, click the Save button to finalise it.

5. Assign the Profile to Staff Members

  • Go to the Privileges tab in the staff member’s record.
  • Within the Sales Privileges section, assign the relevant Sales Admin Profile to the staff member.

Key Notes

  • Access Control: Use these profiles to ensure staff have appropriate access to stock information and functionality based on their roles.
  • Customisation: Profiles can be tailored to individual or departmental needs.
  • Easy Updates: Double-click options in the Admin Screen Pages tab to quickly adjust visibility and permissions.

Scenarios Where This Process is Useful

  • Limiting access to sensitive tabs or functions for junior staff members.
