The Navigator Sales System includes multiple modules and permission options that support sales team operations, from enquiry generation to order processing and deal management. Each role—salesperson, manager, or administrator—can be configured with specific access depending on their responsibilities.
This guide outlines the available access options, what each one enables, and recommended usage considerations to ensure effective and secure user configuration.
Core Sales System Modules and Options
Sales 360
Provides frontline sales staff with tools to:
Generate and manage customer enquiries
Maintain a personal sales diary
Create quotations
Note: The ability to create sales orders is not enabled by default and must be granted separately.
Sales Order Processing
Grants users the ability to raise sales orders.
Optional Restriction:
Raising of Sales Orders Not Permitted:
This restriction blocks users from generating sales orders, even if they have access to Sales 360.
Sales Manager’s Toolkit
Designed for sales managers, this toolkit enables:
Oversight of team enquiries
Access to advanced sales reporting tools, including:
Profit reports
Debtors lists
Order book
Aged stock reports
Note: To function correctly, salespeople must be assigned to a manager (covered in later setup).
Vehicle Administration Tools
Vehicle Administrator Toolkit
This is the main module for vehicle administration and allows:
Creating vehicle records
Accepting vehicles into stock
Posting purchase invoices
Recording receipts
Closing deals
And more advanced vehicle-related tasks
Vehicle Admin Access (Restricted Profiles)
Access can be selectively limited by user profile. For example:
A user might be allowed to view the Debtors tab and post receipts
But be blocked from posting purchase invoices or editing vehicle records
This system is highly customisable and suitable for task-specific delegation.
Vehicle Parameters
Contains system-wide settings for the vehicle module, including:
New vehicle data (price files)
Finance company setups
Bonus configuration
Enquiry types and source management
⚠ This section should only be accessible to highly trusted personnel.

Before assigning any options, always consider:
The user’s role and level of trust
The need for reporting, invoicing, or admin actions
Whether oversight or auditability is required for their actions
