This guide explains how to create and customise a new campaign in Navigator, allowing you to target specific data based on your chosen criteria.
Steps to Create a New Campaign
1. Start a New Campaign
- Navigate to the campaign module and click the New button in the top left-hand corner.
- The Design Window will load, where you can start building your campaign.
2. Understand the Design Window Components
- Campaign Number:
- Automatically generated by the system for identification.
- Description:
- Enter a name or description for your campaign to help identify its purpose.
- Selection Fields:
- Lists the available fields you can use to filter your data.
- Selection Box:
- Displays the criteria you’ve chosen for the campaign.
3. Add Criteria to the Campaign
Example: Report on Vehicles Registered Between Two Dates
- Go to Selection Fields on the left-hand side.
- Choose the field you want to filter by (e.g., Registration Date).
- On the right-hand side, enter the date range:
- Reg Date From: Specify the start date.
- Reg Date To: Specify the end date.
- Click Add to include this filter in the Selection Box.
Tip: If you make a mistake, double-click the incorrect entry in the Selection Box to remove it.
4. Save the Campaign
- Once all desired criteria are added, ensure you’ve entered a descriptive name for your campaign.
- Click the Save button to finalise the campaign.

- To edit or view a campaign, double-click on its name in the campaign list.
