How to Add a New Vehicle to a Customer Record - Using VRM and Manually

To update a customer's vehicle registration, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Marketing > View Customer/Prospect and search for the customer.
  2. Double-click on the customer’s name. If they have multiple vehicle records, double-click on any of the vehicles to access the customer record.
  3. Once the customer record is displayed, go to the Vehicle tab.
  4. Click Update next to the registration field.
  5. Click Add and enter the new registration number (Reg No) and VRM.
  6. Click Save & Close to finalize the update.

Note: If the VRM doesn’t return any details, it’s likely our third-party supplier doesn’t have that information. In this case:

  1. Follow steps 1 to 4 above.
  2. Enter the registration number without pressing VRM.
  3. Click Change to manually enter the vehicle details.
