Setting Up a New Valeter User

This guide outlines the dual process required to create a system user who is specifically designated as a Valeter.

Note: You will need access to Setup > Staff Record to complete this process.

Part 1: Creating the Staff Record

  1. Navigate to Staff Records and click the New button.

  2. On the Basic Details tab, enter the user's name.

  3. Next, go to the Privileges tab.

  4. Assign the user a branch.

  5. Create a numeric password for the user.

Part 2: Configuring for Valeting

  1. Proceed to the Technician Setup section.

  2. Enter the user's details in this section.

  3. Make sure to check the Valet Only box.

  4. Set the efficiency to 0.00.

  5. If the user is not working as a technician, you can leave the "Skill" field blank.

  6. Click Save to finalise the Valeter setup.
