How to Grant a Technician Access to Another Branch

To give a technician access to another branch within Navigator, follow these steps:


Step 1: Access Staff Records

  1. Navigate to Setup from the main menu.
  2. Select Staff Records from the submenu.

Step 2: Load the Staff Member

  1. Enter the technician's staff number or use the dropdown menu to select their name.
  2. Click Load to open their staff record.

Step 3: Add Branch Access

  1. Go to the Privileges tab within the staff record.
  2. Click the Add Branch button.
  3. From the list, select the branch you want to grant access to.
  4. Click Add to confirm the selection.

Step 4: Save Changes

  1. Once the branch has been added, click Save to update the staff member's access permissions.

Additional Notes

  • Ensure the technician has the appropriate privileges set for the newly added branch.
  • Changes will take effect immediately, allowing the technician to access the designated branch.
