Processing an export sale of a vehicle

If a customer is selling a vehicle to a country that does not charge VAT, follow these steps to process the order correctly:

  1. Navigate to the relevant order in the system.
  2. Go to the VAT Exempt section.
  3. Tick the VAT Free option to indicate that this transaction is exempt from VAT.
  4. Select Export and complete the required details, including the EU VAT number and ensure the export sale box is ticked.

By correctly marking the order as VAT-free and ensuring all export details are entered, you ensure compliance with international tax regulations and accurate record-keeping for the transaction.
