How to Set Up SMS Appointment Reminders

This guide explains how to configure Navigator to send automatic SMS appointment reminders to customers the day before their scheduled appointment. Ensuring it reduces no shows and improves customer satisfaction through communication.


Steps to Set Up SMS Appointment Reminders

Step 1: Access the Workshop Module

  1. Log in to Navigator and navigate to the Workshop Module.
  2. Select Service Parameters from the submenu.

Step 2: Open Email/SMS Settings

  1. From the toolbar, click on the Email/SMS icon.

Step 3: Configure SMS Appointment Reminder

  1. In the Email/SMS Settings window:

    • Select the SMS Appointment Reminder tab.
  2. Compose Your Message:

    • In the Message Box, type the SMS text you want customers to receive.
    • Example: "Reminder: Your appointment is scheduled for tomorrow at [time]. Please contact us if you need to reschedule. Thank you!"
  3. Review your message to ensure it is clear and professional.

  4. Save the Message:

    • Once satisfied with your message, click Save.
    • Close the window by clicking Close.
