How to Set Up Vehicle Warranties in Navigator

Setting up vehicle warranties ensures they are available when creating sales orders. Follow these steps to configure warranties in Navigator:


Step 1: Access the Warranty Setup

  1. Navigate to Vehicle Administrator Toolkit.
  2. Select Vehicle Parameters from the menu.
  3. Click on the Warranty tab.

Step 2: Add a New Warranty

  1. Click the New button.
  2. Fill in all the required fields with the warranty details:
    • Warranty Name: The name of the warranty.
    • Duration: Specify the duration of the warranty.
    • Cost and Retail Price: Enter the associated costs and retail prices, if applicable.
    • Conditions: Add any applicable terms or conditions (if your system allows this field).
  3. Once all fields are complete, click Save.

Step 3: Finalise the Setup

  1. Review the list of warranties to ensure all required warranties have been added.
  2. Click Save and Close to confirm and exit.

Step 4: Using Warranties in Sales Orders

  1. When creating a sales order, navigate to the Warranties tab.
  2. Select from the list of configured warranties, which will now appear as options.
