Setting Up or Amending Parts Discount Codes

To set up or amend discount codes that can be assigned to a part number within the parts record, follow these steps:

Steps to Set Up or Amend Discount Codes:

  1. Access the Navigator Main Window:

    • From the main Navigator screen, navigate to the following:
      • Parts Menu
      • Parts Managers Toolkit Menu
  2. Open the Discount Codes Setup:

    • Once inside the Parts Managers Toolkit, click on the Setup tab and select the Discount Codes button.
    • You will be presented with the Discount Codes setup window.
  3. Select or Create Discount Codes:

    • Choose the appropriate franchise from the drop-down list.
    • Select an existing discount code from the discount code drop-down menu or create a new one if necessary.

Discount Code Configuration:

For each discount code, you can set the following Sales Discount Rates (these can be assigned to customers):

  • Sales Table 1
  • Sales Table 2
  • Sales Table 3
  • Sales Table 4

Minimum Requirements for Each Discount Code:

  1. Cost: The normal stock order discount from the retail price.
  2. VOR: The normal VOR (Vehicle Off Road) discount from the retail price.
  3. Local Purchase: The standard discount for purchases from local suppliers (e.g., another dealer).

Extended Discount Table (Optional):

  • If needed, select the Extended Discount Code Table to enter additional discounts based on the three purchase types.
  • These extended discounts can also be assigned to customers.

Final Step:

  • Once you have made your changes or created new discount codes, click the Save button to store your updates.
