This guide outlines the process for removing a Part Exchange (PX) from an order. Ensuring the correct steps are followed is critical to avoid errors and maintain accurate records.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Check for Outstanding Jobs or Costs
Before proceeding, verify that there are no outstanding jobs or costs linked to the PX stock record. Resolving these beforehand is essential to avoid conflicts during removal.
Step 2: Verify the Host Deal
Confirm that the host deal associated with the PX has not yet been invoiced or delivered. PX removal cannot be completed if the deal has already reached these stages.
Step 3: Unaccept the PX
Open the host deal and navigate to the PX Details tab.
Select the option to Unaccept the PX from stock.
Important Note: If you encounter an error stating that the PX is not in stock:
Locate the PX stock record.
Accept it into stock.
Return to the host deal and repeat the unacceptance process in the PX Details tab.
Step 4: Remove the PX
Within the order, go to the PX Details tab.
Single-click the vehicle and select Remove.
Raise the order to finalise the removal of the PX.
