This guide explains the setup and limitations of the printed and on-screen job card format. Understanding the configuration process allows for better customisation of job cards to suit operational needs.
Job Card Format Overview
The format for both printed and on-screen job cards is derived from a form designed within the system. While the form offers flexibility in its content, it has specific limitations regarding its orientation.
Configuring the Job Card Format
Access the Forms Designer
Navigate to Setup > Forms Designer in the system.
Locate the form used for job cards.
Edit the Form
Use the Forms Designer to adjust the layout, fields, and other elements of the job card.
Ensure that the modifications align with your requirements for both printed and on-screen formats.
Save and Test Changes
Save your adjustments in the Forms Designer.
Print a sample job card to confirm the updates are displayed as intended.
Important Notes
Printing Orientation:
Job cards are restricted to portrait orientation.
Landscape orientation is not supported, and this limitation cannot be altered within the current system.
Consistency Across Formats:
Changes made in the Forms Designer will apply to both the printed and on-screen formats, ensuring uniformity.
