How Do I Report on Deals with Outstanding Settlements?

Modified on Mon, 14 Apr at 8:24 AM

In Navigator, keeping track of outstanding settlements is essential for accurate financial reporting and efficient deal management. An outstanding settlement refers to a finance agreement or settlement figure that has been recorded but not yet posted within a deal. Failing to post these settlements promptly can lead to reporting discrepancies and delays in processing customer transactions.

This article outlines how to identify deals with outstanding settlements using the Action Report.

What Is the Action Report?

The Action Report is a key tool within the Vehicle Administrator Toolkit. It provides a high-level overview of various pending actions across deals, including unsettled finance agreements.

Among the columns in this report is Settlement Not Posted - a key indicator of whether a settlement is still awaiting processing.

How to Run the Report

  1. Go to Vehicles in the Navigator main menu.

  2. Navigate to Vehicle Administrator Toolkit.

  3. Click on Reports.

  4. Select Action Report.

Once opened, you will see a list of active deals along with a range of status indicators.

How to Identify Outstanding Settlements

  • Look for the column titled Settlement Not Posted.

  • Any deal that has a tick in this column has an outstanding settlement that has been recorded but not yet posted.
