Menu Bar Functionality Update

We have an important update regarding the behaviour of the main menu bar within the system.


What’s Changing?

Following recent changes, the menu bar was set to appear automatically as a pop-up side bar. However, after receiving feedback from a broad base of users, we acknowledge that this transition has caused frustration and disrupted workflow for some.

As a result, we are reverting to the previous behaviour:

  • The menu bar will no longer auto-display.

  • Users will once again need to click the burger icon (☰) located at the top of the screen to open the menu manually.

Why This Change Was Made

Although the pop-up sidebar was introduced with the intention of making navigation more intuitive, many users found it intrusive or difficult to adjust to. We’ve taken that feedback on board and prioritised a familiar and controllable navigation experience.
