The issue with the current vehicle model not appearing in the system is typically due to how the Navigator Data Supplier handles vehicle updates:
- The data supplier creates a vehicle entry based on its introductory year.
- If there is no specification change to the vehicle in subsequent years, the Vehicle Price File is not updated with a new model year.
As a result, vehicles listed in Navigator may still refer to historical model years while being current if no changes have occurred in the vehicle’s specifications.
What to Do When a Model Refresh Occurs:
- If the vehicle has undergone a model refresh and the system hasn't updated to reflect the new model year, contact the helpdesk.
- The helpdesk will escalate the issue to the data supplier for the appropriate update.
