If the current vehicle model is not appearing in Navigator, it is often due to how the Navigator Data Supplier manages vehicle updates.
Common Reasons for This Issue:
Vehicle Model Updates Depend on the Introductory Year
- The data supplier creates a vehicle entry based on its initial release year.
- If there are no specification changes in subsequent years, the Vehicle Price File is not updated.
- This means older model years may still be listed, even if the vehicle is still in production.
Model Refreshes May Not Automatically Update in Navigator
- If a vehicle undergoes a facelift or refresh, but the system still displays the old model year, it may require a manual update.
- If you require the model ASAP to sell, you can manually add it on by following this guide. How to Manually Create a Missing Model
What to Do When a Model Refresh Occurs:
? Step 1: Verify whether the vehicle has received a facelift or update.
? Step 2: If the updated model is missing in Navigator, contact the helpdesk.
? Step 3: The helpdesk will escalate the issue to the data supplier to request an update.
