Possible Causes
A vehicle’s service history may sometimes appear to be missing or detached from the customer record. This can happen due to:
- Changes to the vehicle's details or chassis number.
- Errors during data entry or updates.
- System issues causing disconnection of the history records.
Steps to Rebuild Vehicle Service History
Follow these steps to restore the service history for a customer vehicle:
Navigate to Customer > Vehicle.
Click the Update button located next to the registration field.
Select the Rebuild History option.
The system will pause momentarily while it relinks all historical service data to the vehicle.
Once complete, close the record and reopen it to verify that the service history is restored.
Troubleshooting
- If the above steps fail to restore the service history:
- Verify the registration details are correct.
- Ensure there are no duplicate records for the same vehicle.
- Contact the Navigator Helpdesk for further assistance.
