The total hours displayed in the workshop diary are determined by multiplying the opening hours by the technician efficiency. For example, if the workshop has 8 opening hours and there are 3 technicians working at 100% efficiency, the diary will reflect a total of 24 hours (8 hours x 3 technicians).
If a technician is operating at a reduced efficiency, such as 50%, their contribution will be calculated accordingly. For instance, with 8 opening hours and a technician at 50% efficiency, the diary will log 4 hours for that technician (8 hours x 50%).
How to Refresh Diary Hours
After making any amendments to technician efficiency, it's important to refresh the diary hours. To do this:
- Go to Workshop > Service Parameters > Opening Times.
- Tab through the opening hours section.
This process will refresh the diary hours to reflect the updated efficiency settings.
