How to Process Payment for Vehicle Damaged on the Forecourt

When someone damages a vehicle on the forecourt and agrees to pay for the repairs, follow one of these methods to process the payment:

1. Create a Sales Ledger Account: Set up the individual responsible for the damage as a sales ledger account. Then, generate a sundry invoice for the cost of the damage.

2. Workshop Job and Invoice: After creating their sales ledger account, you can also open a workshop job for the damage and necessary repairs. Charge the repair costs to the individual’s account via the workshop job.
