How to Conduct Part Stock Takes

Daily Stock Takes

Daily stock takes are designed to help maintain accurate stock levels throughout the year, ensuring a full inventory check is completed on an annual basis.

Steps:

  1. When you first log in to the system each morning, the stock take sheets will automatically print out. Navigate to Parts > Point of Sale to access them.
  2. After printing, go to Parts > Stock Take > Daily Sheets.
  3. Input the stock levels for the parts listed on the sheets.

Full Stock Takes

Full stock takes are typically conducted annually to verify the complete inventory. Parts marked with a bin location of "NOT STOCKED" (with zero quantity) are excluded from this process.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Parts > Stock Take > Sheets to initiate a full stock take. This will print the complete parts stock take.
  2. To begin entering the stock data, go to the Enter Screen option in the same section and input the corresponding sheet numbers.
  3. Continue this process until all sheets have been entered and stock levels updated.

This ensures all parts are accounted for, and accurate stock levels are maintained for the year.
