Windows Defender is designed to protect your system from potential threats, but sometimes it may block legitimate applications like Navigator. To ensure smooth operation, you can add an exclusion for Navigator in Windows Defender. This prevents Defender from scanning or blocking the software.

Steps to Add an Exception for Navigator in Windows Defender
Step 1: Open Windows Security
- Press
Win + S
and type Windows Security. - Click on Windows Security from the search results.
Step 2: Navigate to Virus & Threat Protection Settings
- In the Windows Security window, select Virus & threat protection.
- Scroll down and click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings.
Step 3: Add an Exclusion
- Scroll down to the Exclusions section.
- Click Add or remove exclusions.
- Click Add an exclusion, then select Folder.
Step 4: Select the Navigator Folder
- In the file explorer window, navigate to:
C:\Users\{yourusername}\AppData\Local\
- Select the Navigator folder.
- Click Select Folder.
Step 5: Confirm the Exclusion
- Windows Defender may prompt you for administrator permission—click Yes to proceed.
- The Navigator folder should now be listed under Exclusions.
