Troubleshooting Navigator Not Opening

If Navigator fails to open, users cannot access core functions for jobs, invoicing, or reporting. Most issues are caused by installation errors, missing software files, or configuration problems. Following these checks will resolve the majority of cases.


Step 1: Confirm System Requirements

Make sure your PC meets the hardware and software requirements for Navigator:

Step 2: Reinstall Navigator

  1. Uninstall Navigator fully by following this guide:

  2. Reinstall Navigator from the official link:

Step 3: Fix CefSharp Errors

If you see an error such as Unhandled Exception or CefSharp, a Microsoft runtime file may be missing.


Step 4: Check Antivirus Exceptions

Navigator may be blocked by antivirus software. Add Navigator as an exception using this guide:

Step 5: Recreate the Shortcut

Sometimes the desktop shortcut points to an old version.

  1. Delete the existing Navigator icon.

  2. In Windows Start, search for Navigator.
