Booking Parts Directly to a Sales Vehicle

Modified on Thu, 1 May at 11:59 AM

This guide explains how to book parts directly to a sales vehicle in the Navigator system. While most parts for vehicle preparation are booked to workshop jobs, certain items such as accessories (e.g. floor mats) may be booked straight to a vehicle without involving a workshop job.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Access the Parts Point-of-Sale Screen:

  • Open the Parts Point-of-Sale module in Navigator.

2. Add the Required Part:

  • Enter the part number and press Tab, or use the search function to locate it.

  • Adjust the Quantity if necessary.

  • Pricing will be automatically adjusted based on preset rules for Sales Vehicles.

    • Note: Discounts are not shown on screen but are applied when the part is confirmed to the sales vehicle.

  • Click Add to add the part to the sale.

  • Repeat if adding multiple parts.

3. Book the Parts to the Sales Vehicle:

  • Click the Sales Vehicle button from the top menu.

  • You must know the Stock Number of the vehicle.

  • Enter the stock number and click Search.

  • Review the vehicle details, then click OK to confirm the booking.

Important Tips:

  • Ensure you have the correct stock number before proceeding.

  • Use this method only for direct-to-vehicle items not associated with workshop tasks.

  • Automatic pricing ensures consistency, but always confirm final invoice values if needed.
