This guide explains how to book parts directly to a sales vehicle in the Navigator system. While most parts for vehicle preparation are booked to workshop jobs, certain items such as accessories (e.g. floor mats) may be booked straight to a vehicle without involving a workshop job.
Step-by-Step Process
1. Access the Parts Point-of-Sale Screen:
Open the Parts Point-of-Sale module in Navigator.
2. Add the Required Part:
Enter the part number and press Tab, or use the search function to locate it.
Adjust the Quantity if necessary.
Pricing will be automatically adjusted based on preset rules for Sales Vehicles.
Note: Discounts are not shown on screen but are applied when the part is confirmed to the sales vehicle.
Click Add to add the part to the sale.
Repeat if adding multiple parts.
3. Book the Parts to the Sales Vehicle:
Click the Sales Vehicle button from the top menu.
You must know the Stock Number of the vehicle.
Enter the stock number and click Search.
Review the vehicle details, then click OK to confirm the booking.
Important Tips:
Ensure you have the correct stock number before proceeding.
Use this method only for direct-to-vehicle items not associated with workshop tasks.
Automatic pricing ensures consistency, but always confirm final invoice values if needed.
